Sharp MZ

Hi all, I appear to have a similar issue with my MZ700, the checkerboard pattern on boot up along with no beep. Only difference for me is that the pattern changes everytime I switch on. Did you manage to resolve your issues? Was it related to Monitor ROM? I've taken out both Monitor ROM and CG ROM a...
