Sharp MZ

I have been trying to source MZ-80B games without much success. I have seen some cool looking arcade conversions and would love to get my hands on them. Does anyone have access to dsk files of them or did they only pop up on cassette?

Any help gratefully received.

What I/O card are you using? I could never get it to work with the Sharp MZ-80b one but with the card I got from Psmart it worked fine. I had the same issue as you. The light would come on then go off.

Thanks! Yes I need to check dimensions as well as its a pretty small area inside the case to fit one in. I really wish they had just made a shunt for dual voltages.

Hello everyone!

Has anyone any suggestions on replacing the 220v PSU in my MZ-80a with a 120v one? Can I just get a Meanwell type and set it up? Is it just 12v 5v rails or is something else needed?

I actually ended up cleaning all the contacts on the edge connectors in the I/O bay and the pins on the MB and everything seems to be working now. Good news! Card arrived. Thank you. It worked right away (Yay) and loaded CP/M. However after a while it gives a lot of read errors. On the HXC I see it seeking track 0 on disk 1 and 2 like its looking for something. Do you use a CFG file on your HXC? I would be curious to see what settings you use....
