MZ-700's for sale

Post by psmart »

I have a few Japanese MZ-700 machines and two European MZ-700 machines for sale if anyone is looking for one, all cleaned up and running well.

I'm willing to sell for 15% less than the Ebay price directly (via paypal) - or just make me an offer and if it is reasonable then a deal can be made. I bought several as I made the wrong assumption that people would be interested in my tranZPUter SW-700 board but wouldn't want the hassle of installing and testing it. The board though is just too expensive to make so I've given up on the idea hence selling these MZ-700's.

Yep, Amigaists are not Sharpists. You know stuff like 68060 (warpX60) or 69080 (Vampire)...

Not sure I understand your comment - never owned and never had the desire to own a Commodore (VIC20,64,Amiga etc), always Sharp, I briefly used a QL and recently owned a BBC.

Sorry, I mean it's pretty easy to find Amigaists to buy over €500 accelerators (those I cited above) for their favorite computers.

And I should have probably said: "Sharpists are not Amigaists" in this order.

I guess if you got caught up in the Amiga world it would be something akin to PC's where you always had to have the latest and most powerful even if you didnt need it!

My projects were never really meant for sale and what I've sold to date has been at cost (all costs on my website as BOM), interestingly the Japanese are more interested in them even though they have some excellent developments themselves, ie: https://twitter.com/koichironakaza1/sta ... 90/photo/3 - I sold 5 tranZPUter's and 5 RFS boards, anyone else interested in them I can send a blank PCB f.o.c. but no plans to make any more.

In relation to the Amiga, I've been playing with an X68000 and this is a great machine (no keyboard but I have a PS/2 mouse/keyboard adapter courtesy of Martin from 8bity.cz). I might try and make a tranZPUter for the 680000 but small steps first, finish off the Sharp MZ Series FPGA emulator!!!

Yes, I followed them in Y!Auctions.

That's good you were able to sell yours individually.

Good news about X68000! I think there is a great opportunity to build accelerators for it.

And I would be interested in a RFS board for my MZ-80 A.

Took a while to respond as I needed to see what I had left regarding parts.

I dont have any more v2.1 cards made up or indeed the parts to make one but I do have the v2.0 board below which I can send f.o.c., just PM me you address and I can send it over. The v2.0 is identical to the v2.1 except the additional parts soldered onto the v2.0 board are smd mounted on v2.1 - there is otherwise no difference.
