SHARP MZ700 peripherals

Post by felineuk »

I am on the look out for peripherals for the MZ700. If anyone knows of any on their trek's online, do post here and i will look them up. Any help most appreciated.

I only have the cassette, but other than a printer what else is there? I had a look on ebay yesterday after joining the facebook group. It's ignited my interest again.

I also looked for the Apple MacIntosh and the BBC as well as i was an avid user of those too in the early 80's. I also suspect an old style portable TV will be next on the agenda to get it all operational again in my study...

There's various floppy drives, both from Sharp and third-party manufacturers. Then there's the QuickDrive and various printers from Sharp. I've also seen modems and 80-column cards.

I have an MZ700 with a 2.8" QuickDisk fitted internally if I remember correctly.
I bought it several years ago to complement my MZ collection but have never used it. It is definitely available if someone is interested as I'm having to clear out a lot of my collection.
There's probably not a lot to interest others on this forum as anything relating to the MZ80K/A I'm still keeping and most of the rest is early IBM 5150 or some even older IBM terminals, so I think it's only the MZ700 which might be of interest.
I'm in the UK by the way.
