Interesting MZ 700 with commodore floppy

Post by fitus »

Interesting MZ 700 with custom ROM and custom interface to commodore floppy disk drive 1541.
Never seen before. Wonder what kind of DOS it used.

Not something recent, it was already explained here: https://original.sharpmz.org/mz-700/mz1571.htm.

As a fact, there is no DOS but a program named as a sequence of its commands to drive the commodore floppy disk. It is more like a monitor. But you won't be able to use a BASIC with a commodore floppy drive unless the BASIC was patched to do so (that is, the program code is more and less embedded in the BASIC).
