Hello,
Does anyone have pictures of the PCB above and below the MZ-1X03 joy stick?
I would also like some pictures of the potentiometers, the interior layout ....
Thank you

FR:
Bonjour,
Est-ce que quelqu'un possède des photos du circuit imprimé dessus et dessous du joy stick MZ-1X03 ?
Je souhaiterai aussi quelques photos des potentiomètres, de l'agencement interieur....
Merci

I'm afraid I don't have any pictures of the interiors. Are you planning to build a replica? You probably know this already, but the schematics is available in the manual.

I actually plan to build a replica, but I have a problem on the diagram in the manual: It says a clock H for controlling circuits 74157 and 74221 but which is not connected to anything, so I suppose that there must be an astable or monostable circuit which is not present in the diagram. It is for this that I would have liked to have some pictures of the printed circuit.

You are right, I have not noticed this before. The rate can probably be derived by looking at the assembler example in the manual, but yes, looking at the actual circuit would be easier :)

Btw another approach would be to use a small microcontroller instead of the original circuit. The protocol appears to be quite simple, although very costly on the computer side and not very practical for arcade style games.

While I have one, I wasn't confortable to dismantle it as I may break it by trying to dislodge the PCB (one main and two smaller for switches).

I annotated the rear PCB as much as possible because I don't want to break anything out of forcing dislodging it:

Oh I forgot to say: it looks like H is connected to VCC, i.e, 5V.

Awesome ! thank you hlide.
There are the details that I wanted to validate this circuit. So if the terminal is connected to Vcc it is therefore that H means HIGH.

I'm an idiot: It was enough to look at the datasheet of the 74ls221 to actually see the wiring of the H which is indeed at 5V!
Sorry for the inconvenience.
