Eliminator II - Sharpsoft

Post by Archminion »

Hi there,

I'm looking for some info on a seemingly rare game.

Please can I ask, has anyone seen this game Eliminator II from Sharpsoft?

I can't find any videos or screenshots of it and was curious what kind of shooter it is?

Also, was there an Eliminator 1 ??

I'd really appreciate any info, cheers :)

Nope! I've never heard of this one and don't have a copy of it anywhere. Very interesting! How did you get the pictures of it?

Hi.

Thanks for the reply. The game was been sold in a uk retroshop.

I also found a lot which had been for sale at one point.

It'd possible the owner of the shop had bought this lit previously to split and sell.

There is a very short description somewhere but I can't find it write now... 😕

No problem. Would be nice to get this game preserved if you can ever find it or get hold of it somehow.

I had either this one or just "Eliminator" in 1985. I can't remember much about it, except that it used the 80x50 pseudo-pixel graphics.

Thank you :)

Is it possible if you can remember if the game is a horizontal Defender or Sramble style shooter?
Or more of a Space Invaders or Galaxian type game?

Cheers

IIRC it was a Space Invaders/Galaxian style game. It was definitely not sidescrolling.

Because the MZ-700 needed yet *another* Galaxian style game :D
